Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival at the Clarion, I found the hotel to be clean but unfortunately, my room smelled of mold and was overly warm at 85 degrees with no way to adjust the temperature. The convenience of having a hot breakfast option to take to my room was appreciated.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel; the rooms were spacious and well-appointed, though some renovation wouldn't hurt. The service was quite friendly, always ready to assist, but could use a bit more energy. The location, right by the Monroeville Mall, was convenient for shopping. The dining experience was average, with room for improvement in cleanliness. Overall, a comfortable stay with good value for money.
When I stayed at this hotel, I found the beautiful exterior a bit misleading as the rooms were a letdown. The bathrooms needed an update, the toilets barely worked, and the bed sheets had holes. The smaller TV in the room was also disappointing compared to the regular rooms at other hotels. On the upside, the location was very good, being close to the city and the PA Turnpike, which was convenient for our family visit. However, the hallways and elevators felt lacking compared to other areas of the hotel.
